CANADA – December 15th, 2022 – Radio IP, a Mobile Security solution provider, is pleased to announce its partnership with Media Sonar, a Digital Risk Detection and Web Intelligence solution provider. The partnership aims to expand Radio IP’s security coverage and mitigate risks for their clients across the social, surface, deep, and dark web.

Radio IP Recognizes the Shift in Security

It is challenging to safeguard organizations from risks without accounting for vulnerabilities between the traditional corporate perimeter and where businesses engage – the social, surface, deep and dark web.

As a forward-thinking organization, Radio IP knew the benefits of using Web Intelligence to protect its clients better. However, they discovered that detecting relevant risks is time-consuming, the solution space is enterprise-focused, and finding talent to make complex software work is expensive and hard to come by.

With Media Sonar, Radio IP can input an asset’s name, email, phone number, and other known information. The platform instantly uncovers where this data exists across public online networks and identifies additional exposed digital identifiers. Then, Radio IP can click to apply Media Sonar expert-built keyword groups to uncover new exposures, data breach indicators, reputationally damaging content, and acts of violence. Now, Radio IP can focus on relevant risks rather than looking for them.

According to Roch Tremblay, COO of Radio IP, “This new partnership with Media Sonar adds depth to Radio IP’s key offering on Mobile security technology. Cyber threats are a big deal, and nobody is ever 100% immune from daily-evolving cyber threats. From ransomware attacks to data breaches, all cyber threats must be taken very seriously. The Media Sonar – Radio IP relationship brings more visibility into these potential threats.”

About Radio IP

Radio IP’s mission is to provide mobile workers with sophisticated solutions for secure, real-time access to a wide range of applications and wireless networks. From small to large companies, Radio IP has been trusted by many mission-critical industries, public safety, military, utility, transportation, and government agencies worldwide since 1998. Today, they continue to move toward redefining the future of secure mobility.

“One core value in Radio IP’s global product suite is Officer Safety,” said Tremblay. “With this new partnership between Media Sonar and Radio IP, we once again bring state-of-the-art technology to help Public Safety agencies better achieve their objectives and provide a greater sense of security to their teams and the population they serve and protect. By being able to search, access, and analyze data from the social, surface, deep and dark web, it’s now possible to increase security internally and externally during investigations.”
