Media Sonar is excited to share that we are once again a Cybersecurity Awareness Month champion. Cybersecurity Awareness Month occurs each year for the month of October. It was created as a collaborative effort between government and private industry to raise awareness about digital security and empower everyone to protect their personal data
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Cybersecurity Awareness Month and will look at how far security education and awareness have come in the last 20 years and where it needs to go in order to lead to a more secure and interconnected world.
Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2023 will focus on four key behaviors:
- Use strong passwords and a password manager
- Turn on multifactor authentication
- Recognize and report phishing
- Update software
